BIOGRAPHY
Cindy Doire is an award winning bilingual singer songwriter with a foot- loose wandering soul that has seen her living and performing in Canada, the United States, India, The United Kingdom, Europe and Mexico. Her first opus, "La Vie en Bleu" (Life in Blue), was released in 2007 and brought her great success. It earned her the Best Discovery Award at the Gala of the Prix Trille Or in 2009. Her second album won her ‘Best Album’ at the Music Film and Motion Awards, the Songs from the Heart Award at the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals, as well as three nominations at the Prix Trille Or Gala in 2011. That same year, she launched her 3rd album "Sticks and Mud”, produced by Colin Cripps and dedicated to “all the troubadours, vagabonds and bandits with whom I’ve crossed paths.”. That album also won her ‘Best Album’ at the Music Film and Motion Awards.
In 2012, she joined forces with Andrea Ramolo to create the Canadian vocal duo, Scarlett Jane. Scarlett Jane is an award winning band, and one of the most exciting new collaborations in recent Canadian Music. In early 2015, they recorded their second studio album. They have been touring incessantly, nationally and internationally since the release of their debut album ‘Stranger’. Cindy has shared the stage with The Skydiggers, Lee Harvey Osmond, Coeur de Pirate, Richard Desjardins, Robert Charlebois, Lynn Myles, Gordon Lightfoot, Alan Doyle, Adam Cohen and The Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Cindy has been gracing audiences all over the world with her charm, her sound, and distinctive songs.
An artist who knows how to put her strengths, her courage and her determination to life, she delivers her music with all that she is: a sensitive and true person, and also a complete and autonomous artist. With a natural and undeniable charm, Cindy radiates on stage (and on record) to demonstrate her unwavering confidence in her work.
Cindy will launch her third Francophone album at the end of September 2017. Cindy Doire presents her newest album "Panorama" produced by Mark Howard (Tom Waits, Neil Young, Lucinda Williams).

Cette jeune artiste à la voix riche et unique, crée des mélodies oniriques et émouvantes qui vous charment tout en douceur. Son folk rock aux infexions de jazz roots évoque les anciens cabarets feutrés, les lumières tamisées et la nostalgie des confidences chuchotées. Dotée d’un charme naturel indéniable, Cindy réussit sur scène (et sur disque) à nous démontrer une confiance inébranlable en son oeuvre. Une artiste qui sait mettre ses efforts, son courage et sa détermination sans égal à profit. Elle fait illuminer ses enregistrements par tout ce qu’elle est : une personne sensible et vraie, doublée d’une artiste complète et autonome. Elle nous invite à nous éloigner de la banalité et à tendre l’oreille à sa trame sonore musicale intérieure.
Depuis son premier lancement, Cindy sillonne provinces et pays et sait aller chercher de vastes publics enjoués tout en demeurant elle-même en grâce, sincérité musicale et douceur. De Trenton à St- Hyacinthe, en faisant halte à Québec, en Nouvelle Écosse et à Terre Neuve, cette jeune dame de scène se fait connaitre de salle en salle, récoltant applaudissement et rappels. À l’international, on l’a vue en Suisse, en Angleterre, en France, en Italie, en Allemagne, en Belgique et en Amérique du Sud dans diverses salles de spectacles et cabarets.
Son premier opus, La Vie en Bleu a obtenu un succès critique enviable et lui a permis de remporter le prix Découverte au Gala des Prix Trille Or 2009. Son deuxième album lui a valu le Meilleur Album au Music Film and Moton Awards, le prix Chanson du Fond du Coeur (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals) ainsi que trois nominations au Gala des Prix Trille Or, 2011. En 2012, elle a lancé son 3e album Sticks and Mud. Cette même année, Cindy lance un quatrième album Stranger avec son nouveau projet Scarlet Jane ainsi qu'un second éponyme en 2015 avec le même projet. Ces deux projets anglophones lui ont remporté plusieurs prix et nominations (Meilleur album, Music Film and Motion, Best vocal group - Canadian Folk Music Awards, etc).
Cindy lancera son troisième album francophone à la fin du mois de septembre 2017. Intitulé Cindy Doire présente Panorama, l'album est réalisé par Mark Howard (Tom Waits, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris).
